New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1973. First hardcover printing. Dust jacket is in very good condition with some edge wear, drink water mark, some shelf wear and minor chips, not price clipped. Red cloth over boards with gilt spine title, top edge has small red ink stain, some tanning, otherwise very good contion.
Jill Emerson is a pseudonym of Lawrence Block (b. 1938). Block is an American crime writer best known for two long-running New Yorkâset series, about the recovering alcoholic P.I. Matthew Scudder and gentleman burglar Bernie Rhodenbarr, respectively. Block was named a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America in 1994. This fiction novel, set in New Hope Pennsylvania, has a diverse set of characters, some who struggle against temptation and some who don't.

Grey cloth over boards with gilt lettering on cover and spine, cover has some stains, spine is worn with a little tear on the back side, red topstain, previous owner's name on ffep, tanning to pages, otherwise good+ condition.
Born Margaret Oliphant Wilson (1828 - 1897) was a Scottish novelist and historical writer. She usually wrote as Mrs. Oliphant. She often wrote about domestic realism, and historical novels but took to writing supernational fiction in the 1880's. This is a collection of stories that deals with after-death experiences.
The Love Affairs of an Old Maid
Harper & Brothers 1899 hardcover in good condition. No dust jacket. Book has some edge wear and corner bumping, loose hinge in front and back but no loose pages, spine is slightly frayed on ends. Interior is clean, no bookstore stamps but previous owner's name stamp is on front endpage. Age toning is present as is common in books of this vintage. Blue-gray cloth-covered boards with angel figure illustrated in silver. Shield depicts a cat, a tea kettle, an a tea cup. Non-fiction, memoir, or at least it claims to be. Sexuality.

33 1/3 RPM Hi-Fidelity Record. Cover is somewhat chewed and stained. Missing commemorative medallion. Record appears to be in very good condition; no noticeable scratches.

New York: Random House, 1970. Harcover. 317 pp. Book Club Edition. Dust jacket is in fair condition: some edge wear, shelf wear, creases, several large tears and corner bumping, interior is excellent, clean, some tanning, binding is tight but book is slightly cocked. Very good condition.
A dystopian novel by the author of Rosemary's baby, with the main character being a young man named Chip, "who fights a desperate battle for freedom in a world benumbed by chemistry and computerization."

Berkley 1965 first paperback printing. Book is tight and square. Spine is flat, uncreased and shiny. Cover is bright, with some shelf wear and corner bumping. Interior is clean. Age toning is present, as is common in books of this vintage. "Packed plentifully with foreboding, doom, grim psychology, stunning action and downright impressiveness."

Tri-State Publishing Company, Dothan, Alabama - No date - Published under the sponsorship of The Gladiolus Garden Club of Dothan, Alabama. Signed on the title page. Book is square and tight. Front cover is pulling away from binding but is still intact and all pages are present. Slight shelf wear but otherwise in very good condition. Ms. Odom is an Alabama writer and this particular volume is very scarce.
