The Gorey Cat
New York: The Toy Works, 1978. Sew-it-Yourself kit for The Gorey Cat, hand-printed textiles in plastic bag, stapled foldover with a price sticker, in near fine condition. (Toledano p. 156).
Introduced from 1978-1980, sold either as sew-it-yourself beanbag animal kits or already made, and came in a variety of animals: the bat, pig, frog, and at least three different-colored cats. The bats are rather inexpensive but the others are rare.
