Miniature Book-Shaped Matchsafes

New York: Artamount, n.d. (ca. 1940. Approximately 1 1/4 x 1 7/8 inches for each of the 2 matchsafes. Brown metal matchsafes with gilt decorations on spine and covers, sliding inserts with original matches, the fore-edge for the strikers shows no use, in fine condition.

These lovely miniature book-shaped objects are great novelty items.
