Benjamin Nathan Cardozo (1870 - 1938) was an American lawyer who served on the New York Court of Appeals and as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. He was well known for his vivid writing and his influence on the development of American common law. This little book has an excellent introduction and bibliography, as well as quoted comments from the judge himself.
