A fine press book on heavy paper, translated into verse by William Ellery Leonard, a Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin. Lynd Ward (1905 - 1985) was a well-known American illustrator, best known for his wordless novels using wood engraving, created the beautiful blue and brown lithographs for this volume.
