Angry's Blown Its Face Up Like a Balloon

Angry's Blown Its Face Up Like a Balloon
$ 70.00 USD
Florence, MA: Matthew Herschler, 1997. (52) pp. Approximately 3 1/4 x 3 1/4". Red Japanese long fiber paper over bristol boards, with title label on pasted-down on front cover, no limitation listed, accordion folds, fine condition.
A slightly too large book for a miniature, nevertheless it holds easily in the hand. This is a delightful ABC book that uses emotions in a poetic way to make it's way through the alphabet. A few examples, "Bored won't admit how much fun it is to paint everything that color", and "Frightened discovers precious little hairs on its own neck". A charming and interesting book, but more on the adult side given the nature of the emotions.
