Unclipped dust jacket with some creases, a few minor tears, original price of $6.95 intact and code of 6903 on bottom of front flap, other first edition points include LOC catalog number 69-11465 and correct amount of reviews on rear book flap, in very good condition; White cloth over boards with black cloth quarter bound, some spotting to top page edges and top of boards, slight discolorations on white covers, crisp and clear lettering on spine, in very good condition.

Mario Gianluigi Puzo (1920 - 1999), was an American author, journalist, and screenwriter. Most notably known for publishing The Godfather, Puzo also wrote the screenplay for Superman, Earthquake, and The Cotton Club as well as the screenplays for The Godfather Parts I, II, and III. The Godfather Part I was adapted into fild in 1972 and starred Marlon Brando as Don Vito Corleone and Al Pacino as Michael Corleone.
