This is the author's first book, but he became better known for his westerns, also writing under the names of Al Cody, A. Archer, Tex Holt, Evelyn McKenna, and Lynn Westland. Born Archie Lynn Joscelyn (1899 - 1986), he was born and died in Montana and wrote over 300 westerns pulp fictions and more than 200 novels during his 40 years writing career, according to the Montana paper, "Helena Observer". The cover advertises this book as a "Tale of Ruthless Revenge!"
