Original pink boards with blue label pasted down on front cover, illustrated with copper plates, a few of which have been hand colored, some wear to covers, text block split in the middle to expose the spine, in very good + condition.

Printed for John Wallis (died 1818) who was best known as a publisher of board games, although he was also a bookseller, music seller and cartographer. This is a rare natural history book for children and is in wonderful condition, considering the audience it was intended for. Only in 7 institutions on Worldcat.
