New York: Coward-McCann, 1929. First Edition. Illustrated dust jacket is in very good + condition, some edge wear and darkening, slight tears on back cover. Illustrated boards are corner-bumped and darkened but generally still bright, beautifully illustrated endpapers, beautiful black and white illustrations, slight amounts of smudging throughout and a few page tears, otherwise in very good condition. An endearing book.

Wanda Hazel Gág (1893 - 1946), was an American author, artist and illustrator. Best known for her children's book "Millions of Cats", she also received international recognition and awards for her print-making. The funny thing in this book is a giraffe/dog hybrid that loves to eat children's dolls.
