Gregory Franklin (1905 - 1985) was an American author and newspaperman. He studied journalism at the University of Iowa and has written many novels and short stories. This novel, set in the Pennsylvania Dutch country, tells of a prominent family that is cursed with a terrible event every seventh generation. A werewolf story ahead of its time, this novel goes into the psychology of the transformation, along with the usual suspense and horror.
