Marbled boards by Weimann (assisted by Pall Bohne, Rene Patron, Steve Tabor and Ingrid Weimann,printed title in black on front cover, letterpress, 12 tipped in incredibly beautiful samples of Weimann marbled paper, signed on the colophon by Christopher and Ingrid Weimann - the only copy in the series that Ingrid signed, accompanied by an article by Ingrid Weimann titled, "The Making of Marbling in Miniature", also included is a Christopher Weimann printed note card with a marbled sample and a note from Ingrid to Robert as follows: "Yours is the only one with my signature. July 18, 2014. Dear Robert, a small jewel of two years work. Enjoy. Ingrid Weimann," all in fine condition. (Bradbury, Dawson's Book Shop 65)
Dawson's Book Shop was founded by Glen and Mary Helen Dawson in Los Angeles, California. Glen Dawson published his first miniature book in 1949 with the help of William M. Cheney. A beautiful miniature which describes the process by which Christopher Weimann went about reducing the pattern of marbled paper so that it would be suitable for miniature books.
