This is a collection of H.P. Lovecraft's letter fiction, collected and presented in chronological order. The introduction is by August Derleth. Also included is Lovecraft's long essay, "Supernatural Horror in Literature". Although Lovecraft was only 47 when he dies, he gained a wide audience through the publication of his stories in magazine and an even wider appreciate of his talents with the publication of the first collection of his tales.
