Sue Grafton (1940 - 2017) was an American novelist. This is the fourth book in her well-known "alphabet series" featuring private investigator Kinsey Millhone. Grafton also wrote screenplays and other 7 other novels before the alphabet series, 5 of which she destroyed unpublished.
